The Kessler School

This fun fall event brings families and Oak Cliff neighbors together to enjoy autumn festivities on the beautiful grounds of The Kessler School.  This year’s Pumpkin Patch Festival and Marketplace will feature live music, a pumpkin patch, bounce houses for both little kids and big kids, pony rides, a dunking booth, a petting zoo, games, fall portraits, several food trucks with yummy eats, and marketplace vendors.  Last year’s Pumpkin Patch was a record-breaking event with more than 1,000 attendees and raising more than $15,000 for The Kessler School.  

n addition to all of the fun, the Pumpkin Patch is a major source of fundraising for The Kessler School PTO.  Proceeds from this year's Pumpkin Patch will be used to improve outdoor spaces at TKS.  Among other things, we hope to replace the school's 30+ year old playground equipment and to install a permanent partial covering over the blacktop to protect students from the elements during P.E. classes.  With these improvements, our students will be able to fully enjoy the invaluable benefits of structured and unstructured outdoor play and exercise, improving both their physical and mental health.

The Pumpkin Patch is open to the public, so bring your family and friends and help us make this year's event another record-breaking one!
